Anjali Singh Kulkarni, MPH, MSW
Anjali Singh Kulkarni is trained in public health, social work, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in law. With 18 years of experience in public health, Anjali has worked as a researcher, project designer and manager, and has provided technical support to state governments, but considers community-based programming her forte. Anjali is passionate about Behavior Change Communications (BCC) and has implemented different models of BCC at the community level for a diverse population. She has worked to improve the health status of and with vulnerable and at-risk populations such as sex workers, transgender, gay men, and community members from lowest caste in the hierarchy of the socially organized caste system.
Anjali received her Master in Public Health from The University of Melbourne, Australia. She obtained her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Law from Kurukshetra University, Haryana and Bachelor of Science from Punjab University Chandigarh, India. Her key areas of interest include behaviour change communications, adolescent health, STI/HIV/AIDS, reproductive and child health, program management and monitoring and evaluation.
