Bio

Gabrielle Jackson (she/her) is a clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and facilitator in the Washington DC metropolitan area. She has a passion for mental health, wellness, accessibility to resources, and collective healing, with an emphasis on Black immigrants and their families and communities. Whether it is holding space for others, encouraging and training others to step into their leadership, or shifting culture through strategic planning and facilitation, she is known for always coming back to the importance of grounding the work in wellness.

Gabrielle is the Founder and Chief of Wellness at Diasporic Healing, a mental health private practice committed to holding space and increasing access, equity, and understanding of mental health and well-being among members of the community at all levels. She is also the Co-Founder and former Co-Director of UndocuBlack Network, a multi-generational network of currently and formerly undocumented Black immigrants and national racial justice and immigrant rights non-profit organization.

During her fellowship year at the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity, Gabrielle focused on the design and implementation of a fellowship and leadership development program, supporting community members interested in learning and activating their skills to facilitate community wellness spaces.
