Neha Raykar, PhD, MA
Neha Raykar currently works as a Senior Consultant at Oxford Policy Management (OPM) India where she leads three independent evaluations of health and nutrition interventions targeting mothers and under-three children in three different states of India - Rajasthan, Odisha and Nagaland. Prior to this position, She was Lead Economist at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), where she was involved in evaluating cost-effectiveness of mental health interventions for the Disease Control Priorities Project and was a researcher on the Transform Nutrition Research Program Consortium focusing on child undernutrition. She led the editorial team of the India Health Report: Nutrition 2015 released in December 2015 and has been engaged in independent studies on maternal and child health outcomes supported by the Consortium. Neha holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Riverside and has worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Colgate University, New York. Neha is a ‘Leaders for Health Equity’ Fellow at the George Washington University for the year 2016-17.
