Emily MacDonald, RN, BSN
Emily MacDonald is the Director of Health Center Operations for Erie Family Health Center’s Foster Avenue Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Chicago, IL. Located in one of the most diverse zip codes in the country, the Clinic serves close to 13,000 patients who speak more than 51 languages. Prior to this role, Ms. MacDonald served as a Community Health Nurse at Erie Family Health Center, helping to provide high quality primary care to patients. She has also worked with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontièrs (MSF) in Mali, Cote d’Ivoire, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo where she focused on post-conflict healthcare access, immunization campaigns, and epidemic response. Ms. MacDonald holds bachelor’s degrees in Regional and Comparative Studies of Europe and the Middle East from Georgetown University and in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University.
