Adekemi Adeniyan (2019 cohort) authored Nigeria’s first oral health storybook, The Girl Who Found Her Smile, which has been translated into Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, and two Filipino languages. Through books, animation, community programs, and an interactive virtual reality experience, she uses storytelling and culturally rooted approaches to help children build healthy oral hygiene habits and see oral health in a new way.
