Adrian Billings (2019 cohort) is building the next generation of rural healthcare providers in West Texas. He has hosted more than 300 medical students and 50 residents in the Big Bend region. He also helped create earlier entry points into the profession, including rural health career experiences for high school students, and helped establish a residency track that immerses physicians in the realities of rural practice.
