Veterans Geography Tool
Kenneth Jones ’17 created the Veterans Geography Tool which provides a snapshot of the health level of communities where Veterans live. It helps users identify the social, economic, physical and mental health needs of those communities.
Creative Minds
Creative Minds, a San Francisco community arts for brain health initiative, celebrated the projects of more than 100 community artists during a weeklong exhibit, including Personal Pandemics led by Gloria Annette Aguirre ’23.

Health Equity at the Intersection of Sexuality and Disability
Gulnar Feerasta ’23 and Felicia Mburu ’23 facilitated a program for Kenyan civil societies to spark a conversation on the issue of accessibility of health services at the intersection of disability and sexuality.
Healthy Eating Habits
Shannon Jordan ’21 worked with a master doll-maker to co-author a children’s coloring book that uses the hand-made dolls as characters to teach children healthy eating habits.

Healthy Community for All
Jordi Luke ’18 (they / he) launched a new nonprofit Haus of Transcendent (HOT) whose mission is to create an accessible, vibrant, and healthy community for all. HOT will address social determinants of health needs through case management and closed loop referrals that connect folks to nonprofit programs.
Neighborhood Development
Akshita Siddula ’21 is the new Executive Director of The 6th Branch which transforms abandoned green spaces into productive resources for the community, such as parks, playgrounds, and community farms.
