Maureen Milanga is the Director of International Policy and Advocacy at Health Global Access Project (Health GAP) where works across sub-Saharan countries to campaign for increased access to HIV treatment, change outdated HIV treatment policies, mobilize civil society to demand better science, increase meaningful civil society engagement and support the enhancement of key population service delivery by governments and donors.Maureen was an AVAC 2013 fellow working with AIDS Law Project and Health GAP to increase access to treatment for people living with HIV. She was listed in POZ 100 magazine as one of the most effective AIDS activists of 2014 and contributed to the Lancet articles on biometrics and public health surveillance in criminalized and key populations. She is also a member of the UNAIDS advisory group.
