Christy Adeola Braham is a researcher and activist working at the intersection of health, labor and migration. She serves as workers' health coordinator at Women in Informal Employment - Globalizing and Organizing (WIEGO), a global research-policy-action network dedicated to improving working conditions for the working poor within the informal economy. Leading the organization's public health work, she engages with trade unions, cooperatives, and other worker organizations to push for improved access to healthcare and workplace health and safety. Alongside her role at WIEGO, she is also the founder of African Platform for Migration and Inclusion in Health (APMIH). She holds a Ph.D. in Public Health, having received training from King’s College London, Imperial College London, University of Sheffield and University of Oxford.
