Danielle Woodhouse Johnson


Danielle Woodhouse Johnson is a project officer for FHI 360, an international development organization that aims to improve lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions for human development. She is also the founder and CEO of The Oasis Alliance, a Virginia-based non-profit that brightens the lives of trauma survivors by curating beautiful personalized interior spaces that encourage and accelerate recovery, growth and wellbeing. Previously, Mrs. Woodhouse Johnson worked as a family support specialist at a community health clinic for medically indigent populations. She also served as a Peace Corps health extentionist in the Dominican Republic.

Fellowship Focus: Studying and quantifying the effects of improved living quarters on the mental health and wellbeing of trauma survivors.
