Bio

Carol M. Manyele is a demographer breaking down barriers to sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and mental health (MH) care for adolescents and young people in Zambia. Carol is serving as a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Grassroot Soccer Zambia, where she provides MEL technical support to ensure quality assurance and generate evidence to inform its adolescent SRHR and MH programs.

She is a recipient of the 2020 Scottish Government and Edinburgh business school scholarship under the Gender Equality Initiative. She is an Alum of the When Females Lead initiative and volunteers in fundraising for projects on the health and wellbeing of rural children.

Carol also volunteers her time at Pamodzi Ndi Ana. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Demography from the University of Zambia, and her master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Lusaka in Zambia. She is passionate about youth and community leadership and how these influence health equity.
