Bio

Kevin Heckman is the Director of Product Development in the medical education group at the American Medical Association in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, he works to identify and disseminate innovative approaches to medical education, working with medical schools, residency programs and national organizations to better align training with the needs of patients.

Before joining the AMA, he was a consultant at Bain & Company for two years, working in the technology, private equity and med-tech industries. Previously, he spent 20 years as a professional actor and director, working in numerous Chicago theatres.

Kevin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and Theatre from Wesleyan University.
