Bio
Dr. Liam C. Hein is an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina, a nurse, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Dr. Hein’s work focuses on improving LGBTQ health equity through education, advocacy and health policy. He is a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity at George Washington Univ./the Atlantic Institute in Oxford, England. He serves on the Board of Directors of OutCare Health and the Advisory Board of the Harriet Hancock LGBTQ Center. He is past chair of the Diversity and Inclusivity Committee of the American Academy of Nursing.Organization
