Bio

Shubham Choudhary is the Founder and CEO of Safe Access, a community-led, non-profit organization focused on enabling equitable healthcare for LGBTQ+ communities. At Safe Access, Shubham is working to reduce barriers to quality, safe and affirmative healthcare for the LGBTQ+ communities across India.

Shubham also served as a Gandhi Fellow for two years in indigenous regions of Rajasthan, India, to transform the public education system. In the past, Shubham launched a grassroots-level campaign “Mahavari Se Yaari” to educate young adolescents on menstrual health, hygiene and management.

Shubham is an Echoing Green Fellow and a One Young World Ambassador. Shubham holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Women and Gender studies from Indira Gandhi National University.
