Bio
Mildred Adhiambo Omino is the Disability Liaison Officer at the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya. Inspired by her lived realities as a woman with a disability coupled with several years of professional experience, Mildred works extensively to advocate for sexual and reproductive health rights of girls and women with disabilities through self and collective advocacy. She co–founded Bintisphere Society to offer mentorship to girls and young women with disabilities to build a strong movement in Kenya that promotes health equity, disability justice and gender justice. Mildred serves as a Board Member of The Action Foundation in Kenya and holds a Master degree in Public Administration from the University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Commerce degree from KCA University. She runs Equity Voice which features blogs and podcasts on disability and gender justice.Professional Interests & Expertise
