Akshita Siddula (2021 cohort) explores how urban farming can address more than food access. In her TEDx talk, she shares how growing food in cities can help confront urban food deserts and racial disparities while creating opportunities for people to reconnect with food, nature, and one another. Her work offers a different way of thinking about urban agriculture: not just as a source of fresh food, but as a tool for building healthier and more connected communities.
