Bio

Dr. Azua Wilfred is a medical doctor working with International Medical Corps as their regional program officer on emergency health and nutrition projects in vulnerable communities. He is also the founder of Valmartin Healthcare Foundation, which focuses on community approaches in healthcare to make health services more accessible for the community. Azua also co-founded Kwatastyle-medicine, a platform that uses local languages to sensitize the community to health challenges and healthy lifestyles.

Azua graduated from medical school in Cameroon, and holds a Master of Science in Community Health under the University of Bamenda. He is a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholar at the University of Manchester doing a Master of Public Health, while possessing certifications in Project Management and Global Health from the University of Washington.
