Bio
Dr. James Huang is the director of student health services at Gallaudet University. Previously, he was the medical director of family medicine at Unity Health Care which ensures organizational commitment to delivering high quality care to underserved communities in DC. He also runs the CODA (Comprehensive medical care for Deaf adults and children) Clinic, providing healthcare to the Deaf community in their primary language of ASL.Focusing his passion on nutrition education and healthy food access, he is part of the board of directors for Fresh Farm and a member of the DC Food Policy Council. He graduated from the Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and completed his training in Social and Family Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.
