Bio

Kate Daugherty is an accomplished community leader with a unique blend of international experience, formal education, and expertise in trauma-informed practice, driving transformational change in communities. She currently serves as the Project Manager for Project TINES, a SAMHSA-funded initiative aimed at revolutionizing graduate nursing education. This project, led by Thomas Jefferson University's College of Nursing, integrates trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based substance use disorder (SUD) practices into the curriculum. Additionally, Project TINES equips clinical placement sites with the training and resources needed to enhance student learning, patient care, and recovery outcomes.

Previously, Kate managed the Youth Healing Team, a youth-led organization providing training and capacity-building services to agencies nationwide. She also directed Camden’s Healing10 Collaborative, a cross-sector coalition committed to embedding trauma-informed approaches across organizations to improve individual and community well-being in Camden, NJ.

Kate holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree from Franklin University Switzerland. She is also a certified yoga teacher, bringing a holistic perspective to her work.
