Bio

Yih Seong Wong is a medical doctor with the Malaysia Ministry of Health, specializing in hematology-oncology and internal medicine. He is also a medical educator, teaching at Monash University and Newcastle University. His professional interests center on enhancing healthcare delivery and cancer care in resource-limited settings, advancing medical ethics, and leadership in healthcare.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Yih Seong co-founded Sejati Initiative, a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving healthcare access and health education for underserved communities, with a focus on refugees and stateless individuals.

Yih Seong earned his medical degree from the International Medical University, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Medical School Southeast Asia Healthcare Leadership Program, and holds a Master of Science in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford.
