Lindsey Pollaczek (2019 cohort) has helped build and expand Fistula Foundation programs connecting women living with obstetric fistula to life-changing care. She also contributed to a multicenter study documenting the reach, impact, and cost-effectiveness of fistula treatment, finding surgery highly cost-effective compared with other health interventions and strengthening the case for prioritizing fistula care in global maternal health.
