Gilberto Lopez (2020 cohort), alongside colleagues and community partners, helped develop Agua es Vida, an interactive exhibit making water science accessible and culturally relevant to South Phoenix’s Latino community. Through bilingual materials, murals, hands-on activities, and virtual reality, the exhibit helps residents understand local water systems and equips them to engage with and advocate for their communities’ water needs.
