Toyese Oyeyemi (2017 cohort) is challenging how medical schools are evaluated by advocating for metrics that prioritize social mission over prestige. He argues that recognizing schools for their commitment to serving communities and advancing health equity would better align medical education with the needs of patients, their communities and society.
