Bio

Nandita Thatte is a Technical Officer at the WHO Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) including Special Program on Human Reproduction (HRP) leading the Implementing Best Practices (IBP) Network, a consortium of civil society organizations focused on advancing SRH globally. She is dedicated to promoting evidence-based interventions, shaping implementation research agendas, and amplifying local partners' experiences.

Previously, Nandita served as a Senior Technical Advisor at USAID, managing multi-million-dollar projects on family planning research, health systems strengthening, and social behavior change, while supporting USAID teams in West Africa, Haiti, and Mozambique. She holds a Master of Health Science from Johns Hopkins and a Doctorate in Prevention and Community Health from George Washington University. Nandita also serves on the advisory board of the Lancet Commission on Evidence-Based Implementation and the board of the Canadian Association of Global Health.
