Christy Adeola Braham and Kuhika Seth (2023 cohort) are helping lead a five-year participatory research and advocacy project with WIEGO to strengthen health systems for workers in informal employment. Through workshops in Brazil and India, they are bringing workers, researchers, activists, health practitioners and policymakers together to center workers’ lived experiences, identify shared priorities and shape strategies for more inclusive public health systems.
