Abraham L. B. Freeman is a CNN and Deutsche Welle featured Social entrepreneur driving bold solutions at the intersection of environmental justice and public health. He is the founder of Environmental Rescue Initiative, a community-based organization that recycles plastic waste into opportunities through innovation and education in underserved communities in Liberia – an effort that earned him the Audience Choice Award for Innovation and Technology at the 2024 UNC Water and Health Conference in the USA.
