The 2025 AFHE Senior Fellow Convening, taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will focus on connection, collaboration and health innovation. The convening will explore topics such as maternal and child health, digital health, social enterprise, and social innovation. As part of the programming, fellows will engage in fellow-led discussions, community site visits, and networking with local leaders. Fellows will also have an opportunity to reconnect, exchange knowledge, and strengthen their commitment to advancing health equity.

If you have to cancel your trip for any reason, please let know Tamara Tur immediately.
Please note, if you cancel your trip after stipends have been issued, you are responsible for paying the funds back to The George Washington University. International fellows will be asked to wire the funds back. U.S. fellows will need to transfer the funds back or mail a check payable to The George Washington University. We will reach out with further instructions, should this situation occur.
