Akshita Siddula is a public health professional based in Baltimore, Maryland. She is currently serving as the Executive Director of The 6th Branch. Previously, she was Managing Director with Right to Health Action (R2HA), a health advocacy group. In this role, she recruited and trained healthcare activists and organizers around the country to push for policies to create a just healthcare system. Akshita hopes to cultivate and mobilize a new generation of leaders with the skills to invite others into this movement for shared action and fight for health justice in their local communities. Before joining R2HA she was a contractor with the CDC and USAID. She holds an MS in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and a BS and BA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
