Claire Thomas is a Project Manager, Early Childhood Education Facilities Program at New Orleans Redevelopment Authority. She was previously a Senior Program Manager, Community Contracting for Vizient in the Gulf South where she worked with regional health care systems to implement their health and economic equity goals. She worked with local advocacy groups and leaders to design and implement innovative solutions for health care systems to invest in the local economy and create healthier communities. Claire’s political activism in St. Louis, MO and Minneapolis, MN has deeply shaped her professional passion to address and transform the interconnected, oppressive systems that contribute to economic and health disparities.
