Bio
Jordi Luke is a disruptor, a policy strategist, and style icon. As the inaugural winner of the Elton John AIDS Foundation Style Icon competition, Jordi advocates for authenticity, compassion, and cultural humility.Jordi is the Co-founder of Haus of Transcendent (HOT), which is leading efforts to prevent homelessness among LGBTQI+ immigrants and Transgender people in Cleveland. HOT also operates as a frontline public health resource. In 2025, HOT distributed over 750 HIV home-test kits through direct outreach in bars, breaking down barriers to care where the community gathers for fun and self-expression. Jordi’s approach to public health is informed by his experience as a former senior leader at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, where he co-authored dozens of federal health publications, trainings, and regulations.
Born in Mexico and raised in Chile and Bolivia, Jordi employs a global perspective in everything he does. As an Atlantic Fellow of the Atlantic Institute, he mobilizes donation drives for Transgender leaders in the Global South who lack access to grants and other forms of institutional support, channeling his vision for a more equitable world into practical acts of international solidarity.
