Marie-Anne Boujaoude is a Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne. Her commitment to health equity is grounded in the belief that health systems should work for everyone, particularly those often overlooked in decisions that shape their lives.
Her research focuses on advancing equity in health technology assessment and health economics. Her work spans methodological research and applied policy, including equity-informed economic evaluation and social value judgments in resource allocation.
Marie-Anne co-founded the Equity in Asia Pacific Health Technology Assessment network, bringing together researchers and policymakers across institutions and countries. Through the network, she supports regional collaboration, knowledge exchange and capacity building in equity-informed decision-making.
Through her research and collaborative leadership, Marie-Anne aims to support health systems that not only maximize health but also reduce unfair and avoidable inequalities.
