Bio
Dr. Naglaa Fathy is a distinguished Masterized physician (OB/GYN), humanitarian leader, and global advocate working at the intersection of sexual and reproductive health (SRH), health equity, sustainable development,Climate change and innovation. With over 15 years of experience across humanitarian, development, and policy-driven programs, she is widely recognized for translating lived experience into scalable, rights-based solutions for marginalized communities.She currently serves as Senior Health Specialist at the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC), where she provides strategic leadership across national health and SRH programs. Previously, she served as Program Manager for the OSRA Program, a flagship USAID- and Pathfinder-funded national family planning and SRH initiative implemented by ERC. In this role, she played a pivotal part in strengthening Egypt’s family planning system, expanding community-based SRH awareness, and advancing youth- and women-centered health programming at scale.
Beyond institutional leadership, Naglaa is the founder of MG Company, an impact-driven organization that applies edutainment, arts, and game-based learning to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her work places particular emphasis on health and well-being, equity, gender justice, and climate action, using a One Health approach to connect human, environmental, and social systems.
One of her flagship initiatives, Games for Goals, has been instrumental in raising awareness of the SDGs in marginalized and informal communities through interactive board games and innovative learning tools. Through this approach, she has successfully bridged global agendas with local realities, making complex development concepts accessible, engaging, and community-owned.
Naglaa also serves as a senior SRH , Climate innovation and health equity consultant to international NGOs, national institutions, and private-sector partners. Expanding her multidisciplinary impact, she is a certified ICF-accredited Relationship Coach, specializing in sexual relationship coaching, integrating medical expertise with psychosocial and relational well-being.
An international speaker and advocate, Naglaa is widely known for championing the meaningful engagement of intergenerational youth experts, particularly young people from marginalized and informal settings, in global health and development decision-making. She has played a key organizational role in major global platforms, serving as one of volunteered organizers of the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) 2022 and 2025, supporting global advocacy on SRH, gender-based violence (GBV), and climate-related health impacts.
Her leadership has been recognized globally. She has served as Egypt’s Global Youth Ambassador, inspiring and mentoring young leaders to engage in community development and humanitarian action. In 2025, she was selected as a GRA Leader within the Global Health Leadership Accelerator (GHLA) Program at Johns Hopkins University, further strengthening her contribution to global health leadership.
