Dr. Pratiksha Dhungana is a dedicated healthcare professional serving as the Community Health Program Lead at Nyaya Health Nepal, a non-profit organization based in Nepal.In her current capacity, she diligently strives to ensure that vulnerable populations residing in rural areas of Nepal have access to dignified and evidence-based healthcare. With unwavering commitment, Pratiksha actively raises awareness and implements integrated maternal, newborn, communicable and non-communicable disease interventions in underserved regions, working closely with community health workers.
Driven by her passion for improving healthcare in resource-constrained environments, Pratiksha obtained a bachelor's degree in dental surgery from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal. Additionally, she holds a master's degree in Public Health, further equipping her with comprehensive knowledge and skills to address complex healthcare challenges.
Prior to her current role, she served as a dental surgeon in various hospitals across Nepal, where she focused on promoting oral health among pregnant women. Furthermore, she organized and conducted several school health education programs and camps, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
With her diverse experiences and unwavering dedication, Pratiksha Dhungana continues to make a significant impact in the lives of marginalized communities, bringing about positive change and fostering a healthier future for all and working towards a healthier and more equitable society.
