Sagal Ali is a National Urban Fellow pursuing a Master’s in Policy Management at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. As part of her fellowship, she is completing a work residency at Kensington Corridor Trust (KCT), a nonprofit in Kensington, Philadelphia. KCT utilizes a neighborhood trust model to ensure long-term community ownership of commercial properties, maintaining local control over property use and values while reinvesting profits into the neighborhood. Sagal expects to complete her graduate fellowship in August 2025 and aims to pursue roles in health policy advocacy and social impact, building on her background and interests in health policy.
