Sagal Ali is a capability manager at UnitedHealth Group, a healthcare and insurance company which aims to help people live healthier lives and helps make the health system work better for everyone. In her current role, she is responsible for identifying and advancing health equity initiatives across products and services in the organization. In her previous role, she developed and scaled a skills-based volunteering program that supports community-based organizations and Federally Qualified Health Clinics across the United States with capacity building projects that focuses on health equity advancement. A notable project includes the implementation of a telehealth platform for an OB/GYN clinic in rural Florida that supported underserved pregnant people during the peak of the pandemic.
