Zahraa Al-sarraf is a pharmacist and a Policy and Adolescents Mental Health Project Coordinator at IFMSA Iraq. She designs projects that promote health and wellbeing and raise awareness about harmful practices against women’s and girls’ health. She served as a local officer on sexual and reproductive health and a strategy developer in the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations-Iraq (IFMSA-Iraq), where she focused on women’s rights, promoting maternal health, and shaping the organization’s attitude toward empowering medical students to take part in decision making in Iraq. As a pharmacist, she worked on a project that promoted health equity in post-conflict rural areas. She is passionate about innovation to solve Iraqi’s societal problems.
