Bio
Dr. Megan Srinivas is an infectious disease physician who focuses on addressing disparities in health resource allocation in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She is working with Project ECHO that uses telecommunications to extend clinical reach to underserved and rural communities in the state. In this role, she is currently working on the Hub team for the Hepatitis C initiative to increase diagnosis and linkage to care for Hepatitis C in rural areas where specialist care is not available.Megan is also employed by a rural federally-qualified health center as the only Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine Physician. Additionally, she is investigating reproductive health restrictions in Medicaid and Title X funding and their impact on the creation of health deserts and STI rates.
