June Okochi is a senior healthcare leader in quality and equity, dedicated to creating health systems where everyone has the opportunity to live healthier lives and receive safe, compassionate and fair care. With nearly 20 years of experience across the English National Health Service (NHS), June has built her career around understanding why inequalities persist and working with others to create systems that deliver better outcomes for all communities.

As Director of Quality, June leads system-wide work to improve quality, patient safety and equity across a population of 1.5 million people. She brings together data, improvement and community insight to identify barriers to care, reduce unwarranted variation and support health systems to learn and improve.

An IHI and ISQua Fellow, June contributes to national and international efforts to advance quality, safety and equity. She is passionate about building health systems that learn, adapt and enable every person and community to thrive.
