Brigit Carter ’17 said nursing education should provide learners an opportunity to be in a setting that responds with equitable practices and policies, the ability to participate in a curriculum free of bias and rich in health equity, and the skills to incorporate these activities into their future practice.

Rose Mary Nakame ’20 wrote a blog and recorded videos of nurses delivering vaccines in Uganda's low-resource settings to show nurses' power and their storytelling in this life-saving work.
