Sheba Mary Pognaa Kunfah, MBChB, MPH, WACP

Dr. Sheba Kunfah is a Public Health Physician, District Director of Health Services with the Ghana Health Service and Founder of Heliday Africa Foundation. She works to strengthen primary healthcare and improve access to quality health services in underserved communities in the Northern Region.

Through Heliday Africa Foundation, Sheba leads youth-focused initiatives on substance abuse prevention, mental health, healthy lifestyles, sexual and reproductive health, cancer awareness and other public health priorities. She is passionate about empowering communities with the knowledge and tools to make informed health decisions.

Her research focuses on strengthening health systems and advancing health equity by generating evidence that informs policy and improves access to quality healthcare. She is committed to building healthier, more resilient communities through leadership, community engagement and research.
