The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity was proud to present an International Day of Persons With Disabilities Webinar titled “Transformative Solutions for Inclusive Development.”
In addition to featuring a keynote by renowned disability in medical education expert Lisa Meeks, James Huang (2018 cohort), Nonsi Mathe (2023 cohort) and Mildred Omino (2020 cohort) discussed the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world in a panel moderated by Shubha Nagesh (2019 cohort). We’ve linked to some of the resources they spoke about below.

We must design with accessibility at the forefront, and importantly, we must center the voices and experiences of those with disabilities who have traditionally been excluded.
