Bio

Dr. Shaun Liverpool is a Lecturer at Edge Hill University, UK, with expertise spanning evidence-based practice, mental health, and digital innovations. His research is driven by a commitment to addressing health inequities experienced by marginalized and underrepresented groups, particularly children and young people (CYP). With an academic background in psychology, health, and computing, Shaun adopts a multidisciplinary approach to designing and evaluating mental health interventions that are both accessible and scalable. Shaun has led pioneering research on the mental health and well-being of CYP in the English-speaking Caribbean and other Small Island Developing States, regions where resources are scarce, but needs are urgent. He has also advanced the study of digital interventions in the UK, focusing on how technology can break down barriers to mental health support. Shaun actively shapes services, collaborating with families and CYP to ensure interventions are co-created.
