Samuel Akuffo is a healthcare leader focused on expanding equitable access to medicines across Africa. As Managing Director of Med4All at PharmAccess Foundation, he leads initiatives that use digital health approaches to improve access to critical healthcare commodities, connecting, providers, and supply systems in more efficient and inclusive ways.

Previously, Samuel led global operations for Zipline across Africa, where he worked at the intersection of technology, Operational excellence and public health to expand equitable access to life-saving medical products. His work helped ensure that blood, vaccines, and essential medicines could reliably reach remote and underserved communities, reducing delays, strengthening health system responsiveness, and improving patient outcomes at scale.

Samuel’s work is grounded in a simple belief: your location should not determine access to medicines you need. He is a pharmacist by profession, a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, and a lover of music and basketball.
