Bio

Samuel Akuffo is the Global Fulfillment Operations Lead for Zipline International’s operations in Africa, leading the health and fulfillment operations teams across all the Zipline’s distribution centers in Africa. In this role, he provides the direction and guidance in operational excellence, stakeholder management, customer experience and people management for the operations teams as they implement Zipline’s global strategy of using on-demand aerial logistics (drones) to increase access to vital healthcare commodities across Africa, especially in areas that are very hard to reach.

Prior to Zipline, he worked with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as a medical representative where he drove access to key respiratory medications and anti-infectives within multiple territories in Ghana.

Samuel is a pharmacist, and his experience and journey over the last 10 years showcases his commitment to using his expertise in pharmacy, operational excellence and leadership to enhance healthcare access across the globe.
