Shatyam Issur ’23 participated in a "Health through Equity, Equity through Health” panel at the C7 Summit, where he promoted inclusive governance that empowers marginalized communities through transparent, accountable systems that prioritize human rights and equal access to healthcare. He also called for an end to laws that criminalize HIV transmission, sex work, same-sex relations, and drug use, which contribute to public health burdens.

Mildred Omino ’20 wrote about the inequitable and unsafe conditions in urban areas that lack essential accessibility features like tactile marks, reserved parking, accessible toilets, and appropriate technology for the visually and hearing impaired. She emphasizes the importance of universal design, spatial justice, and active engagement of people with disabilities in urban development to create equitable and just cities.
